We would like to thank you for your attendance and honoring our Dad today. We have felt privileged to have Roy and Hazel as our parents. From them we learned to laugh, cherish family, how to play cards, honesty, love of this great country and to be kind. They taught us manners, to respect others, friendliness, practicality, and a love of family gatherings. Mom and Dad showed us the value of hard work and to put your children's needs before your own. They also demonstrated to us a model marriage and what it meant to be wonderful caring parents, welcoming in-laws, loving grandparents and great grandparents. Diana & John, Gwen & Dick, Mary & Sam, Lyle & Cherylann, and Ann & Jim.
