| | | Beverly Ann Malo was born July 22, 1934 Herbert and Katherina (Elfert) Malo in Fairmont, Minnesota. She attended and later was a Graduate of Fairmont High School. On October 20, 1965 she was united in marriage to James Studer and latter divorced. She worked at the Sherburn Liquor Store and as a telephone operator. On January 27, 1978 she was united in marriage to Amos Dukes at Fairmont, Minnesota. After their marriage they farmed in Fox Lake Township, rural Trimont. Amos died on January 1, 2008 and she continued to live on the farm. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Trimont. Bev enjoyed going to Jackpot Junction, the outdoors, animals espicialy dogs, cooking, crossword puzzles and cribbage.
Bev died on Wednesday morning, August 27, 2008 at her home in rural Trimont, Mnnesota at the age of seventy-four years.
Survivors include her step-son, Andy Studer of Aurora, South Dakota; four sisters, Gladys Voyles of Granada, Minnesota, Ruby Urban of Fairmont, Minnesota, Phyllis Wedoo of Fairmont, Minnesota and Lorraine Koskovich and her husband, Frank of Fairmont, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Jean Malo of Kingman, Arizona; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Amos, brothers, Robert and Marvin Malo, brothers-in-law, Robert Wedoo, Lorin Urban and Glen Voyles and other relatives.
