Winifred Mae Blum (Rolf) July 31, 1929 - July 19, 2012.

Winnie fell asleep in Christ Jesus on July 19, 2012. She was very well loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Winnie was born in Oelwein, Iowa July 31, 1929 to Henry Irvine and Clara Webster Rolf. She graduated from Oelwein High School. Winnie enjoyed playing basketball, volley ball, and selling cokes at other school sporting events. She married Vernon Albert Steva May 29, 1949 and they had five children; they were divorced in 1968. She worked at Chamberlain Mfg Co. for over 20 years until retiring. She enjoyed her work and loved all of her friends she worked with. After retiring she took on a hobby job, at Frink's Green House, she loved flowers and plants. Winnie enjoyed roller skating, and was able to continue roller skating until she was in her 70's. Other things that Winnie loved doing was attending church and spending time with her family. She enjoyed babysitting children, especially, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her Children: Merle (Patsy) Steva of Waterloo, Cynthia (Gene) Minikus of Waterloo, Mark (Debbie) Steva of Las Vegas, NV, Vernon M. Steva of Hudson, IA, and Denise (Frank) Bruno of Aurora, IL; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, two brothers - James and Frank Rolf, a sister - Eleanor Holden (Rolf), a niece, Susan Hendrix and a nephew, John Hofer.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Waterloo under the auspices of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Waterloo. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22 at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church.
