Josie R. Larson, 28, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of natural causes.
She was born February 29, 1984 in Seoul, Korea and was adopted by Christopher and Carolyn Wester Larson.
Josie had worked at My Verona and Old Chicago.
She is survived by her mother of Waterloo; her foster parents, Joe and Beth Widmann of Cedar Falls; three brothers, Ian and Travis Larson, both of Waterloo, and Nathan Larson of Davenport; one sister, Marie Larson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five foster brothers; one foster sister; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; a special aunt and uncle, Ian and Julie; and special cousins, William and Gail and Widmann.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
A memorial gathering will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at The Cellar, 320 E. 4th St., Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the N.E. Iowa Food Bank.
