| | | Bethel M. Perrin, 90, of Waterloo, died Saturday evening, Aug 27, 2-11. at the Liebe Care Center in Greene, IA of natural causes.
She was born February 26, 1921 in Parkersburg, the daughter of Harry and Emma Elizabeth Jensen Levey. She married Duane “Danny” Perrin on June 23, 1940 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1992.
She had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 40 years and presently is a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Mark (Eileen) Perrin of Charlotte, NC and James (Jean) Perrin of Waterloo; one daughter, Nancy (Dean) Johnson of Greene; five grandchildren, Michelle (David) Sloyer of Waterloo, Beth (John) Sholtz of Pekin, IL, Sean and Frank Perrin of Waterloo and Geoffrey Perrin of Charlotte, NC; four great grandchildren, Riley Sloyer and Cassie Pates both of Waterloo, Dalton and Marisa Sloyer of Traer.
Bethel was preceded in death by one son, Bruce; one brother, William “Bill” Levey; and a brother-in-law, Paul T. Perrin.
Services will be 1:30 P.M. Thursday, Sept 1, at St Paul United Methodist Church with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the church for an hour before services.
Those who wish, may direct memorials to the church or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
