Marlyn Rae “Casey” Clark of Brooklyn, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 peacefully at his home.

He was born September 1, 1936 in Waterloo, son of Alvin Frank “Casey” and Mabel Fern London Clark. He married Darlius Reiners September 2, 1957 in Waterloo.

Mr. Clark was employed by Fay Thompson Standard for awhile, was a Black Hawk County Reserve Sheriff for thirteen years, and was employed by John Deere & Company for twenty eight years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Waterloo and Tama, the NEI CB Club and the UAW Local #838.

He is survived by his wife of Brooklyn; one son, Samuel R. “Sumo” (Donna) Clark of Waterloo; three daughters, Deanna (Daniel) Holst of Rapid City, South Dakota, Shawn S. Craft of Waterloo; and Leanne (Garland) Inman of Waterloo; one sister, Donna Graves of Cedar Falls; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous adopted children.

Casey was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, with an Eagle’s tribute at 6:30 p.m., and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
