| | | Arnold C. “Whitey” Fobian, 69, of Cedar Falls died Monday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.
He was born January 18, 1941 in Cedar Falls the son of Casper and Anna Jorgensen Fobian. He served in the U. S Army during the Vietnam Era.
He married Joann Tibbits in 1965 in Riceville. She preceded him in death in 1984. He then married Norma Andorf in 1997 in Las Vegas, NV.
Whitey was retired from the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works on April 30, 1996 after 30 years as a machinist.
He is survived by his wife, three sons; Arnold Fobian, Jr. of Waterloo, WI. Jeffrey Baker of West Bend, WI, Thomas Baker of Waterloo, IA one daughter; Tammora Fobian of Cedar Rapids, two brothers; David (Linda) Fobian and Gary (Sharon) Fobian both of Cedar Falls, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Nov 4, at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball in Waterloo. Burial will be at a later date.
