| | | Eugene “Gene” Marvin Hadwiger, 72, of Englewood, CO, formerly of Waterloo, Perry, IA, Springfield and Royal Oaks, MI., died May 3, 2008 in Englewood, CO. He was born August 7, 1935 in Riverdale, NE, the son of Marvin and Frieda Dannull Hadwiger.
Gene graduated from the Upper Iowa University and Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield, IL. He was a Pastor at Hosanna Tabor Lutheran Church in Redford, MI from 1965-1969, Ascension of Christ Lutheran Church in Beverly Hills, MI, from 1969-1978 and was a Psychotherapist, Radio Show Host and Teacher at Ann Arbor University.
Survived by: one sister, Kathleen Andersen of Littleton, CO; one niece, Cynthia (Douglas) White, of Littleton, CO; one nephew, Bjorn (Jennifer) Andersen, of Winchester, CA; great-nieces and nephews, Evan and Brenna White and Nicholas and Noah Andersen.
Preceded in death by: his parents.
Memorial Service: will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 at Garden View Chapel. Inurnment was held in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Evergreen, CO.
Memorials: may be directed to the family.
