On October 1, 2001, the Hertz family purchased the Raynor-Hardiman Funeral Home, located at 112 North Vine in Glenwood, Iowa. The building was closed in March of 2002 and underwent extensive repairs and remodeling. The home was restored to its original architectural style; reflective of the Arts and Crafts period. The addition of the Glenwood building, merged Mills County’s oldest funeral homes under one name, and allowed the Hertz family to better serve families from the central and western portions of Mills County.
