| Robert Eugene Bailey, son of the late Edward Bernard Bailey and Helen Dorothy Lane Bailey, was born September 7, 1933 in Omaha, NE. He departed this life at his home in Calico Rock, AR on November 23, 2005 at the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 16 days. Robert was united in marriage to Kathleen Diane Pearce of Malvern, IA on December 22, 1956 in Council Bluffs, IA. He served in the United States Navy. During his working years, he was employed by Case International as a salesman for equipment and tools. Robert was a member of the Pleasant Valley Community Church.
Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kahtleen Bailey of Calico Rock; two sons, David Eugene Bailey of Council Bluffs, IA and Paul Bailey of Brownsville, TX; one daughter, Sandra Jo Nichols of Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Dorothy Dressen of Papillion, NE and Betty Hammerich of Ft. Worth, TX; one brother, Art Bailey of Cumberland, IA; five grandchildren, Sasha Bailey, Trevor Bailey, Eddie Bailey, Jonathan Bailey and Gregory Bailey; one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glen Bailey. No memorial service has been planned at this time. Local arrangements by Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home of Malvern, IA. | ||
