| Liam Patrick Blanchard, son of Sgt. Patrick Allen Blanchard, Jr. and Tia Pearl Blanchard, was born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky on August 4, 2006. Liam was a joy and loved going to the park and playing with other kids. He liked mandarin oranges, Thomas the Train and playing with his mom and dad.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Liam became ill and complications followed. He later died at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee on December 29, 2007 at the age of 1 year, 4 months, and 25 days. He is survived by his parents Patrick and Tia Blanchard of Clarksville, TN; paternal grandfather Patrick Blanchard, Sr. and paternal grandmother Teresa Dillard both of Pacific Junction, IA; maternal grandmother Sherri Starr and her husband Howard of Callaway, MD; maternal grandfather Stan Beck of Rock Springs, WY; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Interment will be in the Waubonsie Cemetery, south of Glenwood, Iowa. | ||
