| Peter Jurgen Clausen, son of Peter J. Clausen and Helen Hansen Clausen was born September 25, 1909 in Schleswig, Germany and died May 28, 2006 at his home in Bouton, Iowa at the age of 96 years, 8 months and 3 days.
Peter was a lifelong farmer in the Bouton area. On Sunday March 16, 1947 Peter was united in marriage to Gertrude Caroline Leibe at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Perry. They were the parents of one child, William. They made their home on a farm in Bouton. Peter was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Bouton. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Helen (Hansen) Clausen, his wife Gertrude in 1998, two brothers: Herman and Martin and 2 sisters: Freda and Madge. Peter is survived by his son: William Clausen (Carol Henning) of Bouton; 2 grandsons: Jason Clausen(Jennifer Van Pelt) of Adel and Ryan Clausen (Kelley) of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. | ||
