| David Everett Burger, son of Clarence E. Burger and Mary Kay Connor Burger, was born September 21, 1951 in Perry, Iowa and died September 22, 2005 at his home in Minburn, Iowa at the age of 54 years and 1 day.
David grew up in Perry, Iowa and graduated from Perry High School in 1969. After high school David moved to Adel where he worked at Iowa Meat Packers in Des Moines. In 1977, David moved to Minburn where he has lived ever since. David attended barber school in 1979 and received his barber’s license. David was the proud father of his two children: Barb and Mark. David loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing or hunting for mushrooms. He also kept busy collecting guns and playing cribbage. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry. David was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mary Burger. He is survived by his daughter: Barb Haglund and her husband Tracey of Rippey, Iowa and his son: Mark Burger and his wife Tonya of Adel, Iowa; 3 grandchildren: Scyler and Caitlin Haglund of Rippey and Lexus Burger of Adel; other relatives and friends. | ||
