| Rose Marie Chambers, daughter of Emmett Anderson and Oresta Lucile Fazel Anderson was born June 8, 1939 in Dallas Center, Iowa and died February 2, 2007 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, Iowa, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Rose grew up in the Bouton and Perry areas. She attended the Church of Christ in Minburn during her early years. Rose enjoyed crafts, camping with her family, her computer, solitaire, sewing, dollhouses, soduku, and her many friends. Rose never met a stranger. She had worked at Younkers and Places for many years. Many remember her as the taxi driver in Perry. She was a faithful receptionist for Community Opportunities, retiring in 2006. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her longtime companion Larry Hinds. She is survived by her daughters: Robin Butterfield of Johnston, Iowa; and Barbara Gliem and husband Tom of Perry, Iowa; 7 grandchildren: Jeannie Marie Butterfield; Ambur Holloway and fiancé Chris Carpenter; Victoria Ann Butterfield and fiancé Jon Kirchoff; Pamela Kohler and husband Carl; Mike Gliem; Brooke Stowe; and Natalie Eastman; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Harold Anderson and his wife Shirley of Perry, Iowa; and sister Joan Hicks and husband Jim of Rippey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. | ||
