David passed from our world into God's Kingdom late Tuesday evening December 2, 2008 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw Mi. David was 72.
David R; Dick Jr. was born in Mayville MI on Dec. 9, 1935 and was the son of David R. & Mildred (Swaffer) Dick Sr. David has been a Vassar resident most of his life. On March 12, 1960 David married Miss Leola Glynn, she preceeded him in deathin July of 2003. David was a long time member of the St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Vassar. He was also retired form Means Industry after many years of employment as a Welder and a Machine Repairman.
David leaves his two children; son David (Tyke)L. Dick, daughter Charlene Dick. Brothers and Sisters in-law Alice Reil, Velva & Jim Rhoten, Clarence & Evelyn Glynn, Sam & Violet Licavoli, and his God Son Ryan Swaffer. David leaves also several aunts, uncles, and other extended family and many friends. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the St. Lukes Lutheran Church. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Dick family with arrangements.
