Cindy passed away early Saturday morning November 1, 2008 at her residnece after a long battle with cancer. Cindy was 50.
Cindy R. Whitehead the daughter of Williard & Ellen (Pilgram) Whitehead was born in Saginaw MI on Aughust 25, 1958. Growing up in Millington Cindy graduated from Millington High School from the class of 1976. After high school Cindy went on to become an electrician, working for General Motors Buick/Powertrain Divison and retired with 25 years of service to GM. Cindy loved spending time with her son,and the entire family. She also,loved to read, work in her garden, sporting events, grooming dogs, and raising and showing Sheltie dogs.
Cindy leaves to cherish her memory her son; Greg Peltonen, parents; Ellen & Williard Whitehead, sisters and brother in-laws; Autumn & Frank Shavrnoch,Robin & Dave Check, and Rochelle & Glenn Sparschu. She leaves also several nieces,nephews and many friends. Gifts of Remebrance can be directed to the Millington-Arbela District Library. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Whitehead family with the arrangements.
