Bertha passed away late Thursday morning October 30, 2008 while at the Vadavilla Adult Foster Care Home in Unionville MI. Bertha was 94.
Bertha M. Schultz the daughter of Henry & Katerena (Burkel) Schultz was born in Richville, MI, on May 18, 1914. Bertha has been a Richville and Vassar area resident her entire life. On July 7, 1933 she married George Walworth. Before George passed in 1995,she and George celebrated 62 years of marriage. Bertha was member of Grace Lutheran Church in Vassar. She leaves her two daughters and son in-laws Connie & Elmo Meyer, and Alice & Selwyn Stuart. Bertha also leaves four grandchildren; Mary Lou & Bob Rau, Roxanne & Randy Gillett, Anne Marie & Dennis Rau, and Alan Stuart. Seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and a nephew and other extended family. Besides her husband Bertha is also preceded in death by a brother Harold Schultz.
