Eileen passed from our world into God's Kingdom late Monday afternoon Oct. 6, 2008 at her residence, Eileen was 94.
Eileen was born June 25, 1914 in Austin Twp Ubly MI. and was the daughter of John & Verena Franzel. On February 25, 1931 Eileen married Wesley Briggs and together her and Wesley celebrated 70 years of marriage before Wesley passed away in 2002.
Eileen leaves her children; daughters; Joan & Gerald Harrington, Marlene & Harry McMahn, Glenda & Robert Kirt, and a son; Jack & Janice Briggs. Eileen also leaves 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother John and a sister Doris. Besides her husband Eileen is also preceded in death by infant daughters (twins) Marquest & Marjorie, two gransdchildren; Jackie (Briggs) Main, and Perry Bishop, sisters Alvena, Alberta, Josephine, and brother Leonard.
Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Briggs family with the arrangements.
