Berniece passed away on Saturday August 23, 2008 while at the Genesys Hospice Center in Goodrich MI. Berniece was 64.
Berniece Ann Foote was born in Millington Mi. on June 1, 1944 and was the daughter of Raymond & Clara (Freeland) Foote.
Berniece accomplished many goals after the death of her son Brian in 1979. In 1982 she graduated from U of M Flint with high honors receiving her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduation she was hired by the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent in the Flint MI. office. While working hard she also received her CPA -Certificate from the State of Michigan. Berniece retired in 2006 from the IRS as an Appeals Officer. She retired with 22 years of service. She is proof to us all that you can achieve Victory & Adversity no matter what. She will be sadly missed by her daughter & son in-law; Tommi & Raymond Hill, grandson & his Fiancee; Garrison Foote & Tabitha Lyon, granddaughter; Elizabeth Hill, and great grandson; Dylan Foote. Berniece leaves also other family and many friends. Besides her son Brian Berniece is also preceded in death by her parents Ray & Clara Foote. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the family with the arrangements. Tommi has honored her mom's wish and cremation has taken place.
