William W. (Bill) Gardner Sr.

Bill passed from this world into God's Kingdom early Friday evening July 18, 2008 at his residence. Bill was 82.

William W. Gardner was born on June 2, 1926 in Caro MI., and was the son of William & Iva V.(Kaser) Gardner. After high school Bill joined the US-Navy and served from 1944 to 1946 during WW-II. After the service he went to work as a Tool & Die Maker. On May 23, 1952 Bill married Miss Doris Dittmar, together Bill and Doris have celebrated 56 years of marriage. Bill retired from Allied Tool after many years in the Tool & Die Profession. Bill also loved his farm and working the land. He also was well know for the pigs he raised. Bill was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of which he served as an Usher for 35 years. He also was a member of the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post # 164, and also a member of the Frankenmuth Conservation Club. Bill leaves his wife; Doris, four children; Bill & Darlene Gardner Jr., Bob & Denise Gardner, Linda Young, and Dave & Ronda Gardner. Also elevn grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. A borther and sister in-law Don & Doris Gardner. As well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
