Bob passed away on Wednesday afternoon at the Covenant Health Care Center - Cooper Campus in Saginaw Mi. Bob was 76.
Robert Weinzierl was born in Flint MI on December 15, 1931 and was the son of Richard & Antoinette (Preville) Weinzierl. On October 21, 1950 Bob married Miss Lois Mercer. Bob & Lois have celebrated 57 years of marriage. Bob retired from Super Food Corp. out of Bridge Port MI. Bob also loved working his farm. Bob was a long time member and very active with the Millington Lions Club. Bob leaves his wife; Lois, two sons; Rod & Bruce Weinzriel, five grandchildren; Christine, Robert, Chad, Amanda, and Kiki, and a great granddaughter Faith Marie. He leaves also two brothers and sisters in-law; Dale & Sue Weinzierl,and Leo & Beverly Weinzierl, his two sisters and a brother in-law; Delores & Marvin Cranik and Dorothy Alexander, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Betty. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Weinzierl family with the arrangements.
