Lorna passed away late Sunday evening at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home, Lorna was 93.
Lorna Schaefer was born on January 22, 1915 in Ponca Nebraska and was the daughter of W.C.H. and Alma (Weiss) Schaefer. On August 27,1937 Lorna married Chester Platt, Chester preceded her in death in 1985. Lorna began teaching school at St. Paul Lutheran School in 1950, and retired around 1977.
Lorna leaves a son and daughter in-law; Ken & Dorothy Platt. Three grandchildren and their spouces, Michael & Barbara Platt, Colleen & Robert Loomis, and Jeffrey & Kirsten Platt.
Seven great-grandchildren; Jason, Jennifer, Tiffany, Brittany, Justin, Luke, and Heather.
