Frank passed away early Saturday evening June 21, 2008 at his vassar residence. Frank was 83.
Frank H. Osmond was born in Saginaw MI. on December 22, 1924 and was the son of William & Margaret (Faye) Osmond. Frank grew up in the Saginaw area. After Frank graduated he jointed the US-Army and was shipped out for a tour of duty in Europe. Frank served in First Armored Division under the command of General George Patton. During his time serving Frank wa s awarded the Purple Heart. After his return he married Ruth Hoffmann on February 16, 1946. Ruth passed away in 1998. Frank eventually became emplyed with General Motors in Plant 6 of the Saginaw Steering Gear operation. After 22 years with GM Frank retired. In May of 2002 Frank married Winona Williams of Vassar, which is where Frank & Winona made their home.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory, wife; Winona, three children, Cathy & Ed Jutzi, William (Bill) osmond, and Keith & Sue Osmond. He leaves also six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Five step-children; Robert & Janine Williams, David 7 Nancy Williams, Allan & Holly Williams, Paul Williams, and Kari & Jerry Millikin, and several step-grandchildren. Frank also leaves two sisters, Eleanor Ziegler, and Peggy Hintz. Frank is preceded in death also by, a brother Jack, daughter in-law, Joyce, infant daughter Lorrie, and a son in-law tim Brewer.
