Fern Anderson

Fern passed away early Tuesday morning April 1, 2008 at her residence at Independence Village in Frankenmuth, Fern was 89.

Fern was born October 16, 1918 in Watertown Twp. Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Henry & Clara (Kester) Sebert. On June 16, 1934 Fern married Mr. Ronald Anderson. Ron and Fern made their home in Millington until she retired from the Ternstedt in 1973. It was at that time they moved to Higgins Lake Mi. Ron and Fern loved their time together. They enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, and the many wonderful times spent at Higgins Lake with friends and family. Ron preceded Fern in death on September 21, 1987. Fern moved back to Reese MI in 2003 so she could be near family. Fern leaves her family to cherish her memory. Daughter & son in-law; Donna & Walter Burkowski and their three childern; Kimberly & Kurt Radina, Kevin & Lynn Burkowski, and Karla & Dave Gunlock. Son & daughter in-law; Donald & Karen Anderson and their children; Jeff & Becky Anderson, Lisa & Ralph Rosteutcher, Steve & Jackie Anderson, and Tim & Tracy Anderson. Fern also leaves fifteen great-grandchildren, in-laws, Chris Sebert, Rosemary & Jack Lindsay, Audrey & Lyndon Root, and Wayne Anderson, as well as other extended family. Besides her husband Fern is also preceded in death by three brothers; Henry, Robert, & Gordon Sebert. Ferns family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the staff at Independence Village for the care they gave to Fern during her stay there.
