Rocky passed away mid-afternoon on Saturday March 29, 2008 while at the Lapeer Regional Medical Center in Lapeer MI. Rocky was 71.

Kenneth Ray Rocheleau,(ROCKY) was born in Akron Twp. near the Akron-Fairgrove MI. area on December 10, 1936. He was the son of Francis & Olive (Nutt) Rocheleau. On April 17, 1987 Rocky married Judith White, and together they have celebrated nearly 21 wonderful years of marriage. Rocky was retired from the State of Michigan as a Resident Care Aid. At one time in his career Rocky served as the Nursing Supervisior -LPN for one of the State Hospitals. Rocky loved the outdoors and loved spending time hunting and fishing with his family and many friends. Rocky was a life member to many orgaizations, organizations such as; Water Wonderland Coon Hunters Association, Michigan Coon Hunters Association, and the Port Austin Coon Hunters Association. Rocky was a member of the United Kennel Club and the PCK. Rocky was a Judge many times for various types of Coon Dog shows, and Coon Dog Trials. Rocky also had a love for horses. He was a licensed owner-trainer of Harness Racing Horses. For over 40 years Rocky was amember of the Michigan Harness Horse Racing Association. He along with his brother Gerald trained and raced many horses. Rocky was also a member in good standing with the Mayville FOE #2526 for many years. Though everyone will miss Rocky, the memories that everyone has will live on forever. Rocky leaves his wife; Judith, children; Julie & Mike Giddings, Janelle & Tony Johnson, Jim & Kristy Balogh, David & Mary Russell, Rochelle & John, Sue, Deedee & Dick, Kevin & Kathy, and Kris. Rocky also leaves many grandchildren, and a brother and sister in-law Gerald (Jerry) & Cathy Rocheleau. Also several nieces, nephews other extended family and many, many friends. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Rocky's very special niece Mer who gave Rocky his last blessings. Rocky is also preceded in death by a brother Keith, and his parents. Again the family would like to invite you to attend the LIFE CELEBRATION SERVICE that will take place on Sunday April 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Fostoria Odd Fellow Hall in Fostoria MI.
