Ron passed from this world into God's Kingdom early Friday morning February 22, 2008 while at his Millington residence with his family at his side. Ron for the pass four years has fought a long hard battle with brain cancer. Ron was 62.
Ronald G. Younger was born in Wichita Kansas on May 19, 1945. Ron was a graduate of Millington High School. After high school Ron served our country from 1966 to 1967 in the US Army during his time in the Army Ron also served a tour in Vietnam. On August 21, 1976 Ron married Miss Penny Nelson, he and Penny have celebrated 31 years of marriage. In 1997 Ron retired from the Buick Motor Division of General Motors after 32 1/2 years of employment. Ron served his community as well by serviing 18 years on the Millington - Arbela Twp. Fire Department. While on the department Ron served many years as the departments Secretary keeping track of the monthly meeting records as well as taking care of the monthly fire department records and reports. Ron leaves to cherish his memory; wife Penny, two daughters and son in-laws Jennifer & Scott Koch, and Tamara & Timothy Schults. Five grandchildren; Kyle, Austin, and Jacob Koch, also Braxton, and Ma Kaylee Schultz. As well as other extended family, and many friends. Memorial gifts of remembrance in Ron's memory can be directed to the Millington-Arbela Twp. Fire Department. Envelopes for the memorial gifts will be available at the funeral home.
