Brenda passed away Wednesday afternoon January 16, 2008 while at her Flint residence with family and friends at her side. Brenda was 62.
Brenda G. Hodge was born in Bradford Arkansas on June 29th, 1945 and was the daughter of Raymond & Otolene (Owens) Hodge. Brenda has been living in Flint for many years moving into Flint from Millington. For many years Brenda was self employed as a care giver looking after many who needed home care assistance. She loved to knit, and had a gift for doing oil paintings. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her family.
Six children: Five sons: David, Jeff, James, Noel Kester, and Jason Angell. One Daughter Rebecca Lada. Also one brother Merlyn Hodge, and two sisters Jan Touchton, and Judy Backman. As well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Debra Jo, a grand daughter Rebecca Denice, and a sister Rose. Memorial gifts of remembrance in Brenda's memory can be directed to the Brian's House of Davison. The family will honor Brenda's wish and cremation will follow the services with private interment of the ashes. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Angell family with arrangements.
