Don passed from our world into God's Kingdom on Sunday January 6th, 2008 while at his winter residence in Florida. Don was 78.
Donald L. Peche was born on July 30, 1929 in Flint MI., and was the son of Paul & Helen (Brenner) Peche. Don served our country during the Korean War in the US. Marines. After he returned from serving he married Miss Eunice Ill. Don also went to work for Consumers Powers Co., and retired after 50 years of employment. Don was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a was an associate member of Hope Lutheran Church in Bonita Springs Florida. Don served God and St. Paul Church in many ways. He served a term, on the Christian Board of Education, and sang for many years in the choir. Don also served the Millington Community by serving from 1967 to 1973 on the Millington School Board of Education. He was also an active member of the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post #164 where he served as post commander, and was active with the Honor Guard. Don also served on the post Flag Team. He along with other team members attended every Millington High School home foootball game to raise the Flag before evey game. Don also love to work with wood, and had a gift for carving. He loved and was very proud of his family, he loved spending time with everyone of them. Though Don will be missed, he'll be remebered for his warmth, his hardy laughter, and his willingness to help whenever, and whom ever. Don leaves to cherish his memory:
Wife; Eunice, children; Sherry & Ken Sebert, Ray & Shelia Pehce, Kristie & Ron White, Jean & Dennis Flader, and Holly & Jim Davis. Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one brother and sister in-law Dale & Valerie Peche.
