For some people, viewing is a very important part of the grieving process. Viewing can make the death seem more real and tangible. It can be a reassurance that the loved one is no longer suffering. However, viewing is an individual choice and you need to do what's most comfortable for you and respect the fact that others must do what's comfortable for them.
