 | Bonnie Smith Owner Bonnie is a native of the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake and has been a resident of the Tidewater area most of his life. He and his wife, Marie, have four children and fifteen grandchildren and reside in the Kempsville section of Virginia Beach.
Bonnie is a member of Kempsville Baptist Churchand an active member and past International Officer of Gideons International and has traveled in over 20 countries and 25 states speaking and placing the Word of God.
Bonnie entered funeral service in March 1955 and graduated from the Eckels College of Mortuary Science with honors in 1958, receiving the Mu Sigma Alpha Award for academic excellence. He was licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in 1959 and is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina. He is a past President of the Tidewater Funeral Director's Association and the Independent Funeral Homes of Virginia Association.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith became the sole owners of the Graham Funeral Home in 1975 and have personally operated the business since that time. They opened their new Greenbrier Chapel in June 1998. Bonnie's enduring commitment to meeting the needs and desires of the families we serve enables him to always be available to personally care for families with a service that is tailored to their specific wishes and to provide them with a meaningful memory in their time of need at the most reasonable cost. |  | Marie Smith Co-Owner Marie is the coordinator of the After Care Program for Graham Funeral Home. A native of Elizabeth City, NC, Marie earned an associate degree at the College of the Albemarle and graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. In addition to her experience of ministering to bereaved families since 1975 as the co-owner of Graham Funeral Home, she has completed the National Professional Certification Program as a Bereavement Facilitator with the American Academy of Bereavement. Her aftercare work includes assisting families with Social Security, Veteran's, and Insurance benefits as well as follow-up contacts of encouragement and other bereavement care which is a vital part of our aftercare ministry.

|  | Scott Stroud Managing Director Scott is the managing director of the Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. A native of Chesapeake and a resident of the Tidewater area most of his life, he and his wife, Amy, reside with their daughters in the Hickory area of the city. They are active in the community and are members of Bethel Baptist Church.
Scott entered funeral service in 1985, graduated from the Mid-America College of Mortuary Science in Indiana in 1993, and was licensed as a funeral director and embalmer that same year. He is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina. Scott is committed to meeting the needs and desires of the families who call upon us in their hour of need by providing a meaningful Christian service tailored to their personal wishes and choices. |  | Steve Zittle Funeral Director Steve is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Parents of ten children, he and his wife, Kristi live in Virginia Beach and are members of Bible Believers Baptist Church. He enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for the Ravens and Terps.
A member of the Great Bridge Rotary Club, Steve began his funeral service career in 1991 and earned an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Catonsville Community College in 1994.
Steve is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina and holds an insurance license, which allows him to handle all of your prearrangement needs. He is also more than willing to share with any local church or civic organization about the benefits of prearranging.
