Myles Carton, 83 of Delaware Avenue, formerly a resident of High St. in Phoenicia died November 9, 2010 at the Kingston Hospital. He had been an area resident since 1966, a member of the St. Francis de Sales Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council, formerly a volunteer with the M. F. Whitney Hose Co. of Phoenicia, a former member of the Phoenicia American Legion Post #950 and the Veteran's of Foreign Wars. Myles was an administrative specialist with IBM of Kingston for 22 years, having retired at age 62. He was born January 10, 1927 in NYC son of the late Myles and Anna Brendel Carton.
Surviving is his sister, M. Frances Regis Carton SSND of Baltimore, MD.
His funeral procession will form on Saturday at 10:45am at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 main St. Phoenicia. At 11 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Francis de Sales Church main St. Phoenicia with Fr. mathew Azahakath as celebrant.
