Geri Kim Yarkin, 47 of McKinley Hollow Road died suddenly Wednesday September 26, 2007 at the Kingston Hospital.
She had been a member of the Big Indian - Oliverea Fire Department Fire Police. She had worked at several locations, including: Morra’s Market, the Belleayre Plaza, and Merrick Tackle’s shipping department. She was an avid Onteora Central School sports fan for the track team. She was actively involved with showing her ‘51 Ford at area car shows. She enjoyed vacationing at Lake George, and was a talented cook and gardener.
She was born July 8, 1960 in Copiague, NY daughter of the late Gereald and Shirley Klein Stiffel.
Surviving are her husband Eugene, daughter Ashley, and son E.J. all of Oliverea. A Sister Shirley Marangio of Dunraven, 3 brothers Gerald Stiffel of Long Island, Edward Goldsmith of Roscoe, and Mark Stiffel of S.C. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Service to celebrate the life of Kim will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home 87 Main St. Phoenicia with the Rev. James Audlin as celebrant.
