Our funeral home is a family owned and operated business. We are large enough to give our families the same service as the largest funeral homes around, yet we are small enough that each family gets the level of attention and care they deserve.

 Chad Foust
Owner
Chad graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1987. He attended Iowa Central Community College and Northwest Missouri State before graduating from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1993. Chad served his internship with Christy-Smith & Hockenberry Funeral Home in Sioux City, Iowa. He worked for Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, Carson Funeral Homes of Dayton and Ogden before purchasing Foust Funeral Home in 2001. Chad is a member of the Eagle Grove Jaycees, Community Development Corporation and the Bower Lodge #464. He is also a member of and has served as past president of Eagle Grove Rotary Club and the Eagle Grove Chamber of Commerce. Chad and his wife Lisa have one son, Tyler.
 Lisa Foust
Owner
Lisa graduated from Estherville High School in 1988. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of South Dakota and her degree in Mortuary Science from Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, Oregon in 1994. She served her internship at Nelson-Berger Funeral Homes in Sioux City, Iowa and joined the Willim Funeral Home staff in 1997. Lisa is a member of the Goldfield Commercial Club, Eagle Grove Rotary Club and Eagle Grove OES.
Ann Shriver
Office Manager
Born and raised in Eagle Grove, Ann Shriver joined our family in 2007. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and her husband Henry is a member of the United Methodist Church. Ann is a Church organist for the Catholic Church at Saturday Evening Mass and on Sunday morning at The United Methodist Church for Praise/Worship. She also teaches piano lessons. Henry and Ann are parents of 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Leola Asche

Leola moved to Eagle Grove in 1949, she married her husband Joe and they shared their life together for 51 years, raising a family of 4. Leola worked 30 years as floral designer at the Eagle Grove Greenhouse. Upon their retirement they did a lot of traveling and spent their winters in Texas. Leola joined the funeral home staff in 2001. She is a member of the United Methodist Church, where she holds an office in the U.M.W. and also serves as a board member.
Paul Riley

Paul grew up and attended school in Eagle Grove. He married his wife Connie in July of1964 and to this union they raised two children, son Todd and daughter Tiffini and are proud grandparents of two granddaughters, Allison and Michelle. Paul worked as a professional truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 2006. He has been a member of the Eagle Grove Fire Department for the last 38 years, a member of the Bower Lodge #464, Moose Lodge and presently serving on the church council of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Paul joined the funeral home staff in 2006.
Richard Gibson

Richard graduated from Winterset High School in 1959 and in 1963, graduated from Tarkio College in Tarkio, MO. He married his wife Opal following college graduation and they have three daughters, their spouses and eight grandchildren. Dick taught in public schools in Oakland and Greenfield for six years. In 1969, he became the principal for the East Union schools for five years and in 1974, he moved to Eagle Grove where he was the elementary school principal for 25 years, retiring in 1999. He is a member of the United Methodist Church and past member of Lions Club International and has served as a member and volunteer for many community organizations. Dick joined the funeral home staff in 1999.
Dick Cahalan

Dick graduated with a BBA degree from the University of Iowa and an MS degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He moved to Eagle Grove in 1965 joining the staff of the Eagle Grove Community Schools. He is a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Eagle Grove Revitalization Committee and serves a board member for Our Foundation for the Future. Dick and his wife Jeanette have three sons. Dick joined the funeral home staff in 1996.
Duane Sampson

Duane Sampson Duane grew up on the family farm in rural Goldfield and graduated from Goldfield High school in 1965. He attended Iowa State University and graduated with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in electronics in 1972. Duane married his wife Cindy (also from Goldfield) in 1970. They lived in the Loveland – Fort Collins, Colorado area where Duane worked for Hewlett Packard for seventeen years. They have two children, Jennifer (and husband Devon) and Brian and two grand children, Jessica and Ana. Duane and Cindy also served as missionaries with the S.I.M. to Nigeria, West Africa for about 5 years. Duane is a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Eagle Grove and is currently working at Goldfield Telecom in Goldfield. He has been with the funeral home since 2001.
