Lena Victoria Lawson Allen, 93, of Cunningham Street, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Valley Falls Terrace. Born November 15, 1915, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Watson and Lettie Louise Humphries Lawson and the wife of the late John Leroy Allen, Sr. She was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, John Allen, Jr. and his wife Susan of Maryland, and Conrad Allen and his wife Susie of Spartanburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeff Allen; and six brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Rosemont Cemetery in Union, conducted by the Rev. Donnan Kenneth Lawson.
