Margaret Elizabeth Gregg Jennings, 83, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 5, 1925, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Dewey and Elizabeth Hicks Gregg and the wife of the late Clyde Curtis Jennings. She was formerly employed with the Spartanburg Herald Journal and was a member of Gospel Light Tabernacle.

Survivors include a daughter, Charleen Woody, and two sons, Rockey Jennings and Billy Wykel, all of Spartanburg; three sisters, Carmie Fisher, JoAnn Holland, and Faye Ledford; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Gale Silvey; and two sons, Curtis Jennings and Michael Jennings.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Gospel Light Tabernacle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Gospel Light Tabernacle conducted by the Rev. Arnold Gahagan. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Light Tabernacle, 100 Williams Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
