The business is operated today at 235 North Church Street, in the old home place which had been moved from its original location and added on to several times to accommodate the needs of a full service funeral operation. Most Funeral Arrangements and body preparations are handled at this central location.
In addition to this central location, the Floyds also operate three funeral chapels adjacent to three of their perpetual care memorial gardens (Greenlawn, Pacolet and Boiling Springs Chapel - the latter, a full service facility, purchased as Forest Lawn Mortuary in June of 2001 from Carriage Funeral Service and then renamed).
All chapels are handicapped accessable and have ample, convenient parking to handle any size service.
The family operates five other memorial gardens in Spartanburg County making a total of eight. This combination of funeral and cemetery operations offers the families of Spartanburg a certain comfort and continuity of service not otherwise available. Families benefit from the close working relationship which exists between the cemetery and funeral home personnel; they know that they are in good hands from the beginning to the end of their arrangements.
