Garnet Irene Lovett, age 85 of Oak Hill passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Holzer Medical Center of Jackson.
She was born July 24, 1921 in Oak Hill, Ohio the daughter of the late Willard and Ella (Hughes) Snyder. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Robert; brothers, Ora, Delmar (Dutch), Wilford (Speck) and Roy Snyder; sisters, Norma Crabtree, Viola (Weedie) Souders and Jesta (Jid) Souders.
Surviving are children James (Nova) Lovett of Oak Hill, Vernal (Rosa) Lovett of Hawaii, Carol (Bernard “Buck”) Snyder of Arizona, Marlin (Cheryl) Lovett of Oak Hill, Beverly (Marvin) Strickland of Oak Hill, Rita Strickland of Oak Hill, Danny (Laura) Lovett of Jackson, Donald (Leah) Lovett of Oak Hill, Rose (Roger) Sherman of Oak Hill; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Evans of Oak Hill, Juanita Parker of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Elza Green officiating burial to follow in Horeb Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, Monday April 9, 2007.
