Lee Roy “Bud” Rose age 74 of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1933 in Scioto County to the late Roy and Minnie (Stiles) Rose. He was a retired bulldozer operator for the Waterloo Coal Company and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his children: Richard Lee Rose, Mark (Cathy) Rose, Susie (David) Barnhart and Jerry Dale Rose all of Jackson, brothers: Johnny (Cindy) Rose, Dale (Nina) Rose and Larry (Cathy) Rose all of Jackson, sisters: Norma Jean Dow of Jackson, Deloris and Paul Hughes of Oak Hill and Mary (Loren) King of Oak Hill. Also surviving are grandchildren: Denica (Douglas) Garrett of North Carolina, Matthew Barnhart of Jackson, Bryan, Nicholas, Alexandria and Miranda Rose all of Tennessee, great grandchildren: Jordan Rose of Jackson, Cody and Kiya Garrett of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Opal Mae (Patty Rose).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Stewart officiating and burial to follow in the South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Friday, March 30, 2007 at the funeral home. Condolences may be emailed to e-k-lewisfuneral.com
