William M. (Bill) Clements, Sr., age 93 of 211 Star Place, Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Holzer Assisted Living Care facility in Jackson, Ohio. Willo Dean Clements, his wife of 64 years, predeceased him in 2002. The Clements family moved to Jackson in 1954 from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Mr. Clements retired from Goodyear Atomic Plant in Piketon, Ohio, in 1979 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson.
Mr. Clements is survived by his children: William M. Clemetns, Jr., of Chillicothe, Ohio, Gaines O. Clements of San Juan Capistrano, California, Lynn D. (Clements) Gibson of Columbus, Ohio and Tracy A. (Clements) Curran of Santee, California. Mr. Clements is also survived by his grandchildren: Nicole R. (Clements) Slocum of Laguna Niguel, California, Bryan and Christi Clements, Springfield, Ohio and Stacey and Kerry Gibson of Columbus, Ohio. There are three great grandchildren: William and Marisa Clements of Springfield, Ohio, and Sean Christian Slocum of Laguna Niguel, California.
Arrangements are under the direction of Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home. A private burial service will be held in Birmingham, Alabama for Mr. Clements, and his late wife Willa Dean at a future date.
The family of William M. Clements Sr. would like to ask that any memorial contributions be made to Holzer Hospice of Jackson, 1600 Ohio Avenue, Wellston, Ohio 45692. For fifty plus years, the Clements family has made Jackson their home. The children of Bill and Willo Dean Clements would like to dedicate the following to all of their friends in Jackson.
