Donald Lee Cruse age 67 of Beaver, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the V.A. Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on January 23, 1941 in Liberty Township to the late James Edward Cruse and Blumey (Collinsworth) Swaney. He was a member of the VFW, life member of the DAV Chapter 45, American Legion Post 0142, Moose, Eagles, Lions Club and the Stockdale United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Janet Eileene Pyle Cruse, whom he married May 4, 1990, in Greenup KY., sons: Richard (Kathy) Cruse, Gary Donald (Mary) Cruse, both of Jackson, Robert (Kim) Fyffe, of Minford, David (Rhonda) Fyffe, of Minford, daughters: Robin (Kenneth) Eby, of Jackson, Donna (Mike) Campbell, of Wellston, Gayla (Ralph) Conley, of Beaver, Rhonda Boyd, of Minford, Lori (David) Dunn, of Ironton, Amy (Tommy) Trent of Piketon, and Melissa (Andy) Keibler of Waverly. Brothers: David Cruse, of Beaver, Oscar Swaney and Fred Swaney, both of Jackson, sisters: Patty Wolford and Elsie Rouse, also both of Jackson. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by, brothers: Robert, Earl, Jack, Jimmy and Charles Cruse, Percy Keeseey and Earl Swaney, sisters: Alfreda Morris and Merle Mae Swaney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Stockdale United Methodist Church with Rev. Major Montgomery officiating and burial to follow in Salem Cave Cemetery. Military graveside services will conducted by the DAV #45 of Jackson. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home in Jackson.
