|William (Bill) Franklin Davis age 65 of Jackson passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born October 21, 1942 in Ironton, Ohio to the late William V. and Sarah L. House Davis. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Germany during the Vietnam War as a truck driver. He was a life member of the VFW Jackson Post 8402 and the Jackson AMVETS. He was also a member of the American Legion in Wellston, the Eagles in McArthur and the Moose Lodge in Chillicothe. Bill was a 1961 graduate of Jackson High School and a long time employee of the Montgomery Trucking in Wellston. He is survived by his sweetheart of many years Karen Wyant of Jackson, three loving daughters: Sarah Davis of Wellston, Tanya Jayjohn (Jeff) of Wellston and Mary Jo Barrett (Gary) of Jackson. Also surviving are grandchildren: Jeffery, Joshua and Jodi Beth Jayjohn, Erikka Jo Alcantara, Kassidy Barrett, Martika Arthur and Stephen and Michael Wyant, sister: Mary Beth Tipton of Jackson, nephews: Ty Walke, Jason Tipton and Ryan Tipton, two special great nieces: Avery and Taylor Walke: two special great nephews: Jaymen and Triston Tipton all of Jackson. Four boys that he cared about very much: Mark and Brandon Loudermilk and Brian and Kevin Dulaney.
At his request the body will be cremated with Military graveside services to be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Hanna Cemetery on Cove Road. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorial contributions maybe made in his memory to the Wesley United Methodist Church on Cove Road in Jackson
