Ronald Edward Johnson, age 72 of Jackson passed away at his residence Thursday, January 17, 2008. He was born in Wellston, Ohio August 28, 1935 to the late William and Evelyn (Nicol) Johnson. He is a retired truck drive with Alford Daniels Trucking; member of the Masonic Lodge of Jackson, lifetime member of VFW and member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by sons Ronnie Johnson Jr. and Mark Johnson both of Jackson Ron Graham of Hillsboro; daughters, Patty Miller and Mary Baker both of Jackson; brother Bob Johnson of Marysville, Ohio; sister Nora Litz of Brazil, Indiana; grandchildren, Kayla, Katlyn, Britt, Kaylee, Bub, Stacy, Chad and Brandon; seven great grandchildren; also surviving several nieces, nephews and cousins, friends, also special cousins John and Virginia Mahle, special friend Dick Karr and the love of his life Ruby Johnson.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by son, Junior Baker, daughter, Mary Ann Mullins; sister, Betty Lou Litz; brothers Donnie Johnson and Mack McCarley.
Special thanks to Sabrina “Abbott Home Health” and Holzer Hospice, Jill Kisor, Dr. Khoury and the entire staff of Holzer Hospital of Jackson.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Military graveside services conducted by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #45 of Jackson.
Friends may call Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral with Masonic Services conducted at 7:30 p.m.
