Alex M. Herald, age 80 of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Holzer Assisted Living of Jackson. He was born April 8, 1927 in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late John M. and Bertha (Boggs) Herald.
He was retired from General Telephone Company.
He is survived by one brother, Keith (Ruth) Herald; two sisters, Ruby (Melvin) York and Ruth McMullin; two nephews and three nieces.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Pearl, Raymond and Rowland; one sister Hazel Casey.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Cornett Chapel Cemetery in Annville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home.
