|I am truly sorry to hear of your lost. We met Forrest through my mother's church in Jackson and everytime I would visit my mom I would look forward to seeing him at the church. He is someone that I will never forget and wish I could have known him longer. He always made us smile and laugh! Our heart goes out to his family.|

|Dear FE, Claudia, Jodi, Amy, and all the family,
We want to express our love and concern for you in your great loss. It is a great loss for us also. We remember vividly when Forney and Lou were married. We all lived in West Virginia. After Forrest Edward was born (he was the cutest little blonde-haired, brown-eyed boy) they moved to Ohio. We lived in different states, but Forney's door was always open to welcome us.
John knew and loved Forney like a brother. We have spent many summer vacations with him and Lou - No one could have been more hospitable, kind, or gracious. All of our children have loving memories of Forney and remember the fun they had when they were with him and their Aunt Louise. They always had lots of soda pop to drink and good food that he cooked on the grill - even though he would sometimes jokingly say he didn't know if he could afford to feed us. His humorous perspective on situations and quick, witty responses were so endearing, effortless, and just a very present part of his personality. Even though our kids and grandkids were not with him very much, he had a way of making them feel like he knew them and they were special. Consequently, they loved him. He left you looking forward to experiencing more of his endearing qualities that left you with a smile on your face. He was a humble, loving, and hard-working man all of his life - qualities that I know God honors. We are shocked and sad about his tragic accident, but we believe God's grace and presence kept it from being traumatic for him. We are comforted to know that his faith is in Jesus Christ and we will be with him again.
To all of his family we send our love and prayers that the Lord will bind up your broken hearts, give you new comfort, hope, and strength to go on. We wish we could be with you, but until we can be, please know that you are always in our hearts. God bless and keep you.
And precious Forney, you have been such a blessing to our lives. We thank the Lord for your love, generosity and wonderful fun times together. We know now you are safely with the Lord, Louise, and all of your loved ones. We will always love and miss you, John, Shirley, Kathi, Mike, Sheri, Phil, Johnnie, David, Melissa, Debby, Tim, Michelle, Kileigh, and Cooper. (Also: Rachel, Timothy, Sam and Maggie, even though they didn't get to know you.)|

|We were so sorry to hear about Woody's accident and extend our deepest sympathies to the family. Because of health problems, we could not come to the funeral home. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We talked to Woody at church and he was such a good person. |

|I was so saddened to hear about Uncle's accident. I know he has been so lonely since Aunt Louise's death. He knew the Lord, so it is comfort to know that he is with her now and enjoying the beauty of heaven.
Uncle was such a dear uncle. He always made me feel so special. I have many wonderful memories with him and Aunt Louise. I loved them so much.
Woody and Claudia, Dad, Aunt Barb, and Uncle Preach are in my prayers.
