Elizabeth “Betty” Ramthun, age 86 years of Lasata Care Center died Friday morning, April 18, 2008 at Lasata where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was born May 10, 1921 in Milwaukee, daughter of Frank and Anna Jenders Sander. She married Sylvester Ramthun on March 6, 1943 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1988. Mrs. Ramthun was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and the Cedarburg Senior Center where she enjoyed Crafty Ladies and playing bingo. Betty was also an avid square dancer. She is survived by four children Ellen (Ron) Fuchs of Denver, CO, Daniel (Linda) Ramthun of Grafton, James (Judith) Ramthun of Cedarburg and Patricia (Charles) Anderson of Watertown, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Funeral Tuesday eve. April 29, 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington with Rev. Tom Osterfield officiating. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
