Grief Steps
Founded by local author Brook Noel, Grief Steps started with the idea of creating a continuing and caring support system—the type of which her readers had been asking for and that she herself had sought after experiencing her own sudden loss. Her goal has been to develop a series of books that recognize everyone grieves differently and at different paces. The result is a comprehensive series of books and a 24/7 online support group that is available and easily accessible for anyone experiencing bereavement or loss. She resides in Fredonia with her husband and daughter.

A local grief support group that meets at St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon.
