| | | Jeanie Lorentz, 61, of Butlerville died at 10:10 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006, at her home.
Mrs. Lorentz was a graduate of Mulberry High School in Mulberry, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge, both in North Vernon. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and drawing.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, January 5, at Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Richard L. Burcham officiating. Calling is from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home.
Born January 21, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Lorentz was the daughter of Elmer and Helen Virginia Bailey Stahl.
Surviving are a son, Thomas Barnhart of North Vernon; daughters, Donna Acton of North Vernon and Ronica Floyd of Butlerville; grandsons, Cory Hancock of North Vernon and Curtis Seitzer of Florida; granddaughters, Dana Hancock, Mary Floyd and Doris Floyd, all of North Vernon, Erica Carter of Virginia and Kaylin Barnhart of Arizona; great-grandchildren, Samatha Carter of North Carolina and Nick Schultz of North Vernon; and a brother, Kenneth Stahl of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
