Virginia Gottula (Pastorelli) was born Aug 6, 1925 in San Mateo. She lived in San Mateo County her entire life, residing in San Carlos since 1957. She died peacefully in her home on Sept 27, 2009. She was married to Vern Gottula on Aug 28, 1948. They had five children. She got the most enjoyment when she was with her family. She loved to play games with her kids. She took many trips to Reno with her sister in-laws and nieces, she loved to play the slots. In her most recent years she went to her family cabin in Sonora, and Lake Tahoe with her family. She was widowed since Jan 26, 1990. Survived by her children, Joeseph (Nancy), Michael, Patti Touchatt (Wesley), Gin Pitts (Kelly), Susan Pulsifer (Geoff); Grandchildren, Kristen, Robert, James, Nicole and Michelle; Her brother Bill (deceased), her sisters Jewel, Alice (deceased), Diane, Vicky, Jeannie and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at Crippen and Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA on Friday October 2nd, 2009 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her name to be made to Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America, 5 Third Street, Suite 625, San Francisco, CA 94103.
