Violet entered peacefully into rest June 23 at the age of 90. She was devoted to her faith, family, and friends. A kind, generous person, she will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her beloved husband U.S. Grant, son Richard & grandson John. Survived by her sons & their wives, Charles & Nancy of Fremont, U.S. “Happy” & Vicky of Redwood City, Russ & Cathy of Demorest, Georgia, 5 grandsons & 7 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Rd. , Redwood City and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, July 10 at 12:00 pm at CrossRoads Community Church , 2490 Middlefield Rd. , Palo Alto with burial following at Skylawn Memorial Park , San Mateo .
