Eileen “Bobbie” Evangeline Maffia
Resident of Redwood City
Entered into rest May 28th, 2009 at the age of 86. Bobbie was born in Santa Rosa , CA on April 24th, 1923. She resided in Redwood City for 60 years. Her dearly beloved husband, Leo P. Maffia, preceded her in death in 1969.
She leaves behind her two sons, Ron (Dorene) and Gary; two sisters, Norma Vail and Dina Varano of Santa Rosa; her grandsons, Anthony and Michael (Vanessa); two step grandchildren, Lorene and Lonnie; and five step great-grandchildren, Angelica, Kyle, Alex, J. J., and Brooklyn.
Bobbie served in the Navy from 9/29/1943 to 1/06/1946. She was a retail manager for Levy Bros. in Redwood City for over 20 yrs. Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, doting aunt, sister-in-law and friend to many. She will be greatly missed; certainly never forgotten.
